Onyx Shower Surround
A dark Onyx solid surface surround with a glass enclosure, replacing a tiled shower that had lost its grout.
The brief here was light. The old enclosure was dark, small and awkward to step into, and it made a decent-sized bathroom feel like a cupboard.
Building the pan to the room rather than dropping in a standard size recovered usable floor, and the pale marble-pattern panels lift the whole space. The threshold is far lower than the tub wall it replaced.
A recessed niche runs across the back wall so bottles have somewhere to sit that is not the floor, and the sliding glass doors keep the sightline open.
